Obituary of Judith Copenhaver Dulaney

Judith “Judy” C. Dulaney, 81, of Roanoke, passed away, Tuesday, November 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Wayne Dulaney; parents George and Blanche Copenhaver; sister, Vicki Whitlock; brother, Dick Copenhaver; special friend, Gwen Crowe.

Judy is survived by son, George William “Billy” Gibson; daughters, Cathy Bowles and husband Jeff, Beth Armstrong and husband Travis; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as in-laws; sister friends, Patsy Ingle and Linda Moses; special pet friend, Cody.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Jae Song officiating. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
