John Alan Franklin, 56, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents John William and Lois Duran Franklin; sister, Janice Nadine Blunt.
John is survived by his brothers, James Randall “Randy” Franklin and wife Martha, William Edward “Billy” Franklin; sister, Elizabeth Gwen Caywood and husband Edward; his beloved dog, Buddy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made to Angels of Assisi or Southwest Virginia Food Bank.
